Paint Sanding Group Day
What the day covers
The day is built around progressively challenging panels, working through both dry and wet sanding technique using electric and pneumatic sanders alongside specialist hand tools and compounds.
Your instructors guide and demonstrate every step, so by the end of the day, you’ll have practised the full process — from assessment through to a finished, refined result — on damage that would be beyond reach for machine polishing alone either technically, or efficiently.
All materials are included, and the day runs from 09:30 to 16:00.
IDA Maintenance Credits
This course counts toward Certificate Maintenance Credits with the International Detailing Association — a practical way to keep an existing IDA accreditation current while adding a genuinely high-value skill to your offering.
Is this course right for you?
Because of the skill level involved, attendees need a working knowledge of machine polishers and confidence with heavy correction — the course assumes this foundation is already in place. If you’re not sure whether you’re ready, our Foundation Machine Polishing Group course is the ideal first step.
If you’d prefer one-to-one instruction at your own pace rather than a group setting, our Sanding (1-to-1) course covers the same ground individually.
