Advanced Interior Cleaning (Group)
What the day covers
The Interior Detailing Group day combines demonstration with hands-on practice across every area of the interior. You’ll work through material and surface identification, removing components for deep cleaning — seats, trim, and steering wheels — and the stain removal chemistry behind tackling ink, oils, tannins, paints, sand, and stubborn substances like chewing gum.
Pet hair removal and allergen management, glass cleaning and access, and odour removal and biocidal sanitising are all covered, alongside surface protection methods for hard surfaces, leather, and fabric.
You’ll also be taught care for delicate modern surfaces — HUDs, touch controls, and high-gloss screens — which are increasingly standard in modern interiors and need a different approach to traditional materials.
Workflow and upselling
Alongside the technical content, you’ll learn a proven methodical checklist that ensures thoroughness on every vehicle without losing time — plus how to spot upsell opportunities within an interior job, a practical commercial skill that increases average job value without significant extra effort.
IDA Certificate Maintenance Credits
This course qualifies for Certificate Maintenance Credits with the International Detailing Association, making it a useful option if you’re working toward maintaining your IDA certification alongside developing your skills.
Group vs. 1-to-1
This course runs as a group day for up to five people, at a lower cost than equivalent one-to-one training. If you’d rather have an instructor’s full attention throughout, the Advanced Interior Cleaning (1-to-1) course covers the same material one-on-one.
