An exclusive one-day enthusiast course tailored for TCB members, covering all the steps and processes involved in interior detailing. The aim of the day is to delve into the chemistry, equipment, and science behind stain removal, identify the correct tools for the job, and demonstrate the best practices for tackling unusual and stubborn tasks. We aim to expand your knowledge and enhance your skill set through techniques and demonstrations, enabling you to reduce time spent cleaning and re-cleaning interiors.
Attendees will cover:
- Â Identification, cleaning, and issues related to interior materials.
- Â Understanding cleaner chemistry and its application to different stains.
- Â Professional techniques in vacuuming, steam cleaning, and wet extraction.
- Â Leather deep cleaning and mild damage repair
- Â Glass cleaning techniques methods.
- Â Odour removal and biocidal sanitising treatments.
- Â Surface protection for hard surfaces, leather, and fabric, including application methods.
- Â Care for screens and delicate surfaces, including HUDs, touch controls, and binnacles.
- Â Small area polishing for scratched trim components
The course is a comprehensive day with the aim of enhancing your skills, efficiency and ability.
The day will run from 9.30am until around 4pm, and you’ll be working both indoors and outdoors alongside some classroom time.
Tea, coffee, etc are provided on the day and there will be a 45-minute break for lunch, which you will need to bring with you.
At the end of the course you will have the knowledge, confidence and ability to detailing interiors in depth, using safe chemicals and methods to achieve perfection.
