The Friday Sessions

The Friday Sessions are our way of giving you a free learning opportunity, right here in the classroom at UK Detailing Academy.

We’ve created these as a session for topics that can’t fill a normal course, but are based on questions and topics we’re always asked about – sometimes hosted by ourselves, sometimes joined by special guests we have lined up, to deliver knowledge and skills that detailers can use to enhance their abilities, and grow their businesses.

Next Session: 27/11/2026 – Kovax Abrasives – Detailer Discovery Session

Join us for a free morning session with Kovax, one of the leading names in abrasive technology. If you work with paint correction, defect removal or refinishing, this is a chance to understand what you’re using and how to get more from it.

The morning starts with a talk and demonstration from the Kovax team. They’ll take you through their range of abrasive media, explain the technology behind each one, and share practical tips on choosing and using the right abrasive for the job.

We’ll then move into the workshop for a hands-on session. You’ll see the products working on real panels and get the chance to try the different options yourself, with expert guidance on hand to answer your questions.

The session is aimed at working professional detailers. It’s free to attend, but places must be booked in advance using the calendar booking system above
