The Friday Sessions are a monthly event giving you a free learning opportunity right here in the classroom at UK Detailing Academy. We wanted to create a small session of students in the room, sometimes hosted by ourselves, sometimes joined by special guests, to deliver some topics that detailers can use to further themselves and their businesses.
Friday Sessions are completely free to attend, and are held at the Academy HQ in Gloucestershire – booking is essential though.
Please note – this is an in-person event and you will need to travel to us in order to attend. Please ensure you are aware of our location and are willing to travel before booking.

Next Session 30/01/2026 – Tricky Angles – Tools, techniques and tips for polishing where a polisher doesn’t fit.
The return of our Free Friday Sessions brings us on to a session spent looking at challenging polishing – getting into tight spaces and polishing the tiniest detail in areas a large pad just won’t fit. We’ll look at the tools and attachments available, how to use them safely, and when to reach for them – from extension shafts, small head tools, and gadgets you can use to achieve perfection on the smallest, most awkward areas.
