UK Detailing Academy is proud to be the exclusive UK training provider for the Colourlock Accredited Leather Technician course.
As part of your repair technician training, you are taught how to match leather colours by eye and using a colour scanner, adjusting using the colour wheel rules. With so much information delivered in the two-day course though, it’s sometimes good to have a refresh on one of the key aspects of successful leather repairs, matching live colours.
We’ll take you back to mixing 101, taking readings using the colour meter, adjusting by eye, and run through tips and tricks to give you the confidence to colour match with ease. It’s an incredibly useful day for anybody who has practiced successfully the repair techniques, but just needs a bit more guidance on the colour matching side.
This is also suitable for those who just want to get a handle on colour mixing in general, as it uses a universal method of colour wheel subtraction – do give a call to discuss if you’re unsure if it works with your chosen system – Colourlock may be an easy switch!
