One-to-one FLEX machine polishing and sanding, tailored entirely to you
The Flexxperts Academy All-In is a private, two-day FLEX machine polishing and sanding course, run by UK Detailing Academy in partnership with FLEX Tools. It’s the same manufacturer-backed training as our group seminar, but with one difference that changes everything: the instructor’s full attention is on you, for two full days, working at your pace and around the machines and paint you actually care about.
Over the two days you’ll cover the entire FLEX range – from the PE14 rotary to the PXE nano polisher, the XFE2 dual action and the XCE2 forced drive, corded and cordless – then move into machine sanding and refinement to correct heavier defects and refine paint to perfection.
Why one-to-one
Because nobody else is booked on the day, the course bends to you rather than the other way round. If you’ve just bought a specific FLEX machine, we can spend as long as you need getting you confident on it. If there’s a technique you want to drill, or a type of paint or defect you keep running into in your own work, we build the day around it. And because there’s no group to keep pace with, you cover more ground – which is why the two-day format works so well as a private course, whatever your starting point.
Day One – Machine Polishing
We start with the theory – movement types and what each does to the paint – then head straight into the studio. You’ll learn combination matching: how to correctly pair machine, pad and compound to the paint in front of you, and how technique changes between rotary, dual action, the nano PXE and the forced-action XCE.
Every machine is explained and put in your hands, corded and cordless, on both test panels and live vehicles – to refine your technique, or simply to see what each polisher can do in trained hands before you commit to buying one. There’s also the option to buy any FLEX polisher you’ve used on the day at a significant discount.
Day Two – Sanding and Refinement
Day Two moves into machine sanding and correction – the ultimate refinement skill. Used properly, short-throw FLEX sanding machines and fine-grade abrasive discs are often the most efficient route to a perfect finish on heavily marked, freshly painted or otherwise flawed paintwork.
You’ll learn to sand safely and effectively with the FLEX ORE 3 orbital sander, remove orange peel and heavier defects, then refine the surface back to perfection using the polishing skills built on Day One. Complete both days and you’ll leave with the full Flexxpert All-In accreditation, along with brand association and promotion rights for your business.
